Rx Advisor is an independent and evidence based provider of NHS medicines management, medicines optimisation and clinical therapy review services.

Rx Advisor is registered with the NHS Information Governance (NHS IG) Framework and also with the Information Commissioners Office (under the Data Protection Act).

Our national team of clinical pharmacists provide support to NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and GP practices across England and Wales. Our proven outcomes since 1999 allow us to share national good practice with local NHS teams to deliver a proactive and comprehensive service assisting NHS colleagues to achieve optimum outcomes for their patients.

The Rx Advisor team comprises of clinical pharmacists, pharmacist independent prescribers and prescribing support technicians who have held senior positions for NHS Primary Care and Secondary Care organisations.

We have facilitated NHS PCTs to pilot many initiatives that have been successfully rolled out nationally. We have experience of developing medicines optimisation programmes both at strategic level and and delivery level at individual GP practices.

We ensure that all of our services are delivered to the highest standards and that service delivery is consistent by use of standard operating procedures and service delivery protocols.

We adhere to NHS guidelines both clinical and corporate and we ensure strict Clinical Governance and Information Governance at levels.
